MAO Lighting was born from Matthew Allen-Olivar's belief that lighting is much more than a technical layer within a project. It has the power to transform how a space feels & functions.
With over a decade of experience in lighting design, Matthew developed an approach that considers not only illumination, but also architecture, atmosphere, materiality and the way people move through and connect with a space.
MAO Lighting brings together creative thinking, technical expertise and a sensitive understanding of each client’s needs to create lighting schemes that feel considered, intuitive and integral to the architecture.
